Guerre De Mode Fashion show

Another opportunity was given to us, thanks to our friend, Sanaz Shams. (We met her during our Singapore trip) The event was really successful, it featured some of the leading fashion designers here in the Philippines as well as students of fashions schools. Students of DLSU were the organizers, this event would serve as their final project (galing talaga ng mga lasallista!)

There were 5 of us, and 25 models. At least we should do 5 models each, that's a lot of models considering we only have 3 hours to finish the task. The theme for the fashion show was just beauty make up, nothing extravagant. We incorporated the colors gold and brown for the eyes, and bold shiny red for the lips.

Sir Gerry Katigbak directed the fashion show

What a messy station!

Mon Lim working.. working hard!

Me goofing around, not working haha!

HAHAHA! we were also assigned to do the hair of the models! Hard work!

So here's some of the final product,

ITS THE NYX THING

HEY HEY HEY :) Merry Christmas to everyone!!! so before I help out on cooking meals for celebrations I  stumbled upon my NYX stuffs so I might as well share it here. NYX is usually called the "cheap and chick" alternative to M.A.C. Cosmetics because it has almost the same shades/items as M.A.C. but is more affordable!  NYX offer a full range of cosmetics...everything from lipsticks to glitter palettes and in an amazing array of colors. Prices can't be beat either as they cost about the same, or less in some cases, than drugstore or department store makeups.

So here are some of my NYX shiznits :) the next pictures will be more close up.

So here is a larger view on the item.

* You'll see on the center is the NYX make up artist kit which has 36 pigmented shadows plus blushers and lipgloss. at the right and left side you'll see the colorful shadow palettes and glitter palettes.

i got a package full of NYX lipsticks so i add them up to my collection.

I wasn't able to grab all the NYX lipstick shades but here i have a couple of shades to show.

Here are some NYX lipstick swatches

From L-R : Louisiana, Rose Bud, Georgia, Tea Rose, Fig, Thalia, B52, Apollo, Hebe, Chaos & Violet Ray.

My favs are : strawberry milk, Tea rose, Louisiana, Fig and Indian pink.

 STRAWBERRY MILK

NYX can be bought from the USA or in some Bazaars here in the Phil.

I still have so much things to talk about NYX, ill give more reviews and swatches about this brand soon :)

2 LOOKS 1 MAKEUP

Another Lazy day made me experiment on my face again. i wanted to use Christmas colors like yellow green and red. unfortunately i didn't use my red shadow. haha. below you'll see that i made 2 looks but using the same eye make up. haha the first look is the bollywood look HAHA. 2nd ones for Christmas. :)

So here ill share the make up that i used for my eyes :)

before putting any shadows I always put an eyeshadow primer. shadow primers will make your shadows appear more vivid with less fading and creasing plus it stays on for hours. so below is the Urban Decay Potion Primer. well for me this is the best primer. lol

Now I first used the NYX yellow funk for the inner corner of my eye.

the next thing is i used a lime green shade from the NYX make up artist palette collection and blend it with the yellow. then used the darkest green to shade the crease area. :)

Sorry for the update! i know some are requesting me to post a blog for starters. yes i will update soon! :)
