Urban Decay Naked2 palette

The Urban Decay Naked palette was sold out for months and quickly became the worlds best selling eye shadow palette of all time. Finally the most antisipated Naked palette 2 is in my hands! I've always wanted to collect each collection because I love every bit of it, from matte to shimmer, from soft to heavy colors, you'll have it all in one amazing palette.

The best thing about this palette is that you can mix and match every color deepending on the look you want to achieve. The first four shades are warm, the next four are neutral and the last four are cooler shades. The palette also comes with a full size shadow brush and a Lip Junkie Lipgloss.

Overall I give this palette two thumbs up! not just because I'm in love with Urban Decay products, but because its shadows are very pigmented and wouldnt really smere or scatter on the crease of the eye plus you have so much colors to choose from. If you already have the previous palette, get this one if you like cooler shades. :)

M.A.C. Viva Glam Nicki!

 MAC Viva Glam is back this 2012 with a Viva Glam Nicki Minaj Lipstick and a new Viva Glam Ricky Martin Lip Conditioner. This collection was released last February but unfortunately in the Philippines its always a month or two late. So I suggest you order in advance at MAC cosmetics or ask someone from the US to grab one for you.

 M.A.C. you got my heart beat runnin' away... So here's my Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick and as shown at the picture it looks like a bright yellow toned pink with a hint of coral. its a little tricky to combine. So I suggest keeping the skin and eyes pretty basic, just some subtle liner will do and really let the lips do the talking. 

If you want a subtle looks, applying a thin layer with a hint of gloss will work great. But if you like a bold in your face lip color then applying two layers this make your lips pop with pink delight.

Overall rating i give it a B+ , i love the sating finish of the lipstick though you need to exfoliate your lips before applying it to prevent it from cracking or look like dried chalk. i love the color its looks shocking at first but when you actually apply it on your lips its so nice and vibrant!

Naked Day and Night!

 URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE!

 

I first laid my eyes on this palette last summer when I was strolling around Sephora Singapore. The moment I saw it I knew I had to have it.   This palette has 12 amazing colors, from light to dark and shimmer to matte. It allows you to create endless shadow combination and looks that would suit your everyday lifestyle.  I love how you can create soft, everyday looks and also heavier, smokey looks which last all day long.

                              Now ill use the Ligher shades to create my own version of a Day Look. 

 1- Virgin

 2 - sidecar 

 3 - Buck

1 - I put on the shadow on the inner rim of my eye, to make the eye look refresh. 

2 - used the next darker shade to the crease blending it to the inner corner of the eyes. 

3- the darkest shade is to further darken the outer crease which makes the eyes look wider.

For the Evening look

 1- I only used creep to be placed on top of the day look make up just to darken the outer corner of the eyes and make it look smokey.

barely there make up with BareMinerals

Ive been a fan of BareMinerals for almost 3 years. the moment I purchased the product I was amazed how it felt so light on my face. it gives me the coverage i want and the flawless finish im looking for.  

Ive encountered some people who doesn't really know how to apply Mineral make up. they claim that mineral powder is hard to put on and fades in a few hours. i believe that with the proper steps mineral make up can do wonders to ones face and will definitely give a nice sheer glow. Here are some steps on how I use my BareMinerals Starter Kit. 

This set i got from sephora includes 3 brushes, 2 foundation, 1 multi tasking concealer and 1 blush in warmth. 

it also comes in this free prime time foundation primer. 

Step 1 : I first used the Prime Time foundation primer to prepare my skin for foundation application. this also helps prolong the staying power of the make up. 

Step 2 : Open the Bare Minerals concealer and put a little of it into the upturned lid. Then, dip both sides of your brush into the foundation in the lid. apply concealer under the eyes and on red spots of the face. 

 

Step 3 : Dip the Brush into the foundation that you placed in the lid to remove any excess foundation from the brush, tap the brush on the rim of the lid. Then, apply the foundation evenly to all facial areas.

Step 4: then use the warmth blush and apply it on the apples of the cheeks and a little bit on the nose to give the face a sun kissed glow.

Step 5 : Lastly apply the mineral veil to set the make up. 

TADAAAA! the finish product.

ITS THE NYX THING

HEY HEY HEY :) Merry Christmas to everyone!!! so before I help out on cooking meals for celebrations I  stumbled upon my NYX stuffs so I might as well share it here. NYX is usually called the "cheap and chick" alternative to M.A.C. Cosmetics because it has almost the same shades/items as M.A.C. but is more affordable!  NYX offer a full range of cosmetics...everything from lipsticks to glitter palettes and in an amazing array of colors. Prices can't be beat either as they cost about the same, or less in some cases, than drugstore or department store makeups.

 So here are some of my NYX shiznits :) the next pictures will be more close up. 

So here is a larger view on the item. 

* You'll see on the center is the NYX make up artist kit which has 36 pigmented shadows plus blushers and lipgloss. at the right and left side you'll see the colorful shadow palettes and glitter palettes. 

i got a package full of NYX lipsticks so i add them up to my collection.

 I wasn't able to grab all the NYX lipstick shades but here i have a couple of shades to show.
