  1. My beauty icon has always been the lovely Audrey Hepburn. With her effortless grace, strong appeal, and selfless character, she has captured the heart of so many people. She has this innate beauty that would make any person look up to her even up to this day. Audrey Hepburn defines beauty.

  4. My beauty icon is Gwen Stefani. From an edgy rock glam look to a classy elegant look, who else could pull off something like that other than Gwen Stefani? This mother of two not only has a great singing voice, but a unique style as well. And let's not forget the signature "red lips".

  5. Princess Diana is the icon of beauty. With her long legs, slim figure, blue eyes, and being a royalty, who wouldn't want to be like her? But what made her even more beautiful was her humble demeanor gained through helping others. That is what real beauty is.

  6. My beauty icon is Gem Myka Sy. Not only does she have a pretty face, but she shines from the inside as well! Sure, she's got an amazingly wicked style, but it's her personality that makes her much more awesome! That's the true measure of beauty, for me anyway. Beauty is relative after all :)

  8. ANSWER: ANGELINA JOLIE.
I just saw my idol and my beauty icon, Angelina Jolie's new film last week, The Tourists, and I must say, I loved every minute of it. It was a near perfect film all around, from the location (Venice, Italy), cinematography as well as the soundtrack that accompanied each scene.
Her wardrobe looked to me to be inspired from classic films 70s or 80s and as a makeup enthusiast myself; I was in awe of her makeup. Angelina was the so beautiful in the film though she’s wearing lots of makeup, it was part of who she was playing: a lady with sophisticated, cool elegance.
Her makeup artist really knows her face and still allowed her natural beauty to shine thru and oh, did I forget to mention that I just love Angie’s famous pout (enhanced often with bold lip colors), thick hair (which is usually styled in a low maintenance manner) and “strong character”.

Oh, by the way, Angelina Jolie was named the BEAUTY ICON OF THE DECADE. Go idol!

  9. My beauty icon is Leighton Meester. On screen, she's one of the most watched out for actresses because of her beauty, style, and poise. Many look up to her in spite of the mean girl role that she plays because she still looks great even when she's acting. She has made her mark in fashion as Blair, but she continues to shine not only by her physical beauty, but through her inner beauty as well. With a good attitude, confidence, and style, she's beautiful inside and out.

  10. Natali Portman is my beauty icon. Her allure is very simple but she never fails to capture the eye of people. What she exudes is the natural beauty even when she goes from classy to daring to simple elegant lady. She also justifies that she must not just be recognized with her beauty but also with her remarkable talent as an actress too. Her beauty is something to look up for.

  12. I've always adored Gossip Girls's Blair Waldorf for being prim and proper in the poshest of ways. But for a change, since we're in the Philippines, I would choose Anne Curtis as my beauty icon. I would say that she is one of the most beautiful faces of our country with a great sense of style. For me, being beautiful doesn't always equate to wearing glamorous clothes and heavy make-ups. She can wear the simplest outfit coupled with a red lipstick just to accentuate her face a little bit yet look marvelous! She knows how to carry herself with confidence. Aside from these, the other reason why i chose her is because of her nice aura/personality which adds up on making her look wonderful in the eyes of everyone. :))

  15. Drew Barrymore is my ultimate beauty icon. She can dress up simply but stay glamorous. Her eyes are so beautiful that whenever I watch her films, I stay glued onto the screen until the very end. Through her acting, she has shaped how I manage my love life. She is simply irresistible. She has the beauty that catches souls!

  16. A lot of people, especially women, admire Oprah Winfrey for her insight, hosting ability and business acumen, but I regard her as a beauty icon because she has what a real woman should have--strength. Oprah Winfrey grew up in the tumultuous South and overcame racism, incest, and poverty. Instead of wallowing in self-pity or contemplating revenge, she instead pursued her life to be the utmost of what she can be. Now, she is the richest African-American woman alive, a respected host, a believable endorser who makes sales rocket on the things she recommends, a Broadway and movie producer, an actress, and now the owner of a TV network, all the while still struggling what every woman is struggling--aging, weight, etc.

  17. My beauty icon is definitely mom 'cause she is the perfect example of simplicity. She has taught all of us that we can be beautiful in our own way despite our imperfections. Though she doesn't put on makeup too much and doesn't subscribe to the latest trends, she remains beautiful by being her smart and caring self--always putting God and her family above all else.

  18. For me, Kim Kardashian is my beauty icon. I can relate to her sentiments in loving a voluptuous body. I admire how she was able to handle herself in front of the media and those people who criticize her for her style. I admire her sensual look without overdoing it at the same time. She serves as a great inspiration to ladies, like myself, that having voluptuous body isn't bad after all. It's an asset like they say.

Kate Hudson --- Her low-maintenance, hippie-chic style lets her natural beauty glow.
Kate Beckinsale ---Apart from being inherently beautiful, she manages to have the most perfect but simplest hair and make-up every time.
Both Kates' looks are of understated elegance, which most women strive to go for and pull off but do not.

  23. My beauty icon are the Olsen sister.. I love how they both can look amazing even if they are dressing down. With the right choice of accessories, they can make a casual outfit look a little formal. They don't really exaggerate in dressing up. I like how you can wear what they wear in the Philippines without looking too dressy. And even if their hair and make-up are just simple, they still look awesome. :)

  32. My beauty icon is Tweety de Leon. Her beauty is timeless as she has been a staple in Philippine fashion and beauty since the 1980's. And she does it seemingly effortlessly as she still looks beautiful with minimal or even without any makeup. When she became a mother, it was as if nothing changed about her approach to beauty. Most of all, she is not limited to her physical attributes and keeps everything simple.

What's important is that your heart still shines through what you wear.Doesn't matter if they're designer of not. People should see beyond your pretty clothes or your good make-up. Your choice of style, in the end, should show off your smile and your beautiful heart.
